Silk Wholesalers Student Sponsorship
Carol is excited by the inspirational work of young emerging West Australian textile artists and wishes to offer encouragement in the form of Sponsoring a Student each year.
Anyone interested in nominating themselves, a friend or a promising student are welcome to do so. Teachers are encouraged to inform their students about this scheme at the beginning of each year.
For each year, nominations can be submitted up to 31st March, of the following year.
The chosen student will be using silk, purchased from Silk Wholesalers, as their preferred medium.
Benefits will include:
- A encouragement pack of different silks will be awarded to the chosen student to stimulate variety and introduce new fabrics.
- A spot, under Friends of Silk Wholesalers, on our website where he/she will be able to display a portfolio of work, artist profile, contact details etc
- A discount on silk, and selected auxiliaries, purchased for own use during the following calender year.
