This versatile kit can be used for Shibori, vat, microwave or any kind of dye work. It comes complete with 2 Landscape Dyes ( of your own choice ), two silk scarves, 1 x Paj 148 x 27cm and 1 x Paj 112 x 15cm, full colour brochure with recipes and advice.

A range of COLD to WARM (30 to 50c) powder fibre reactive dyes that are stable in both powder and liquid form, making them ideal for hand painting; suitable for dye-bath, printing and hand painting. Colour lifter, stronger than salt. A humectant, attracting and retaining moisture to the fibre. Aids colour migration into fabric, improves solubility of dye and stabilizes dyes during fixing and steaming.

For use with Fibre Reactive dyes; Drimarine, Procion etc. Painting powder makes up an unthickened solution for painting or airbrushing onto silk, cotton and viscose/rayon. It can be used with gutta and hot/cold wax. Fabric may be steamed, air cured or ironed.

Dala Sun Colours are concentrated liquid heliotropic paints, by exposure to sunlight and oxygen, produce photo-negative patterns by the placement of found objects such as leaves and cut-outs. The pigment is attracted out of the shade of the object into the sunlight. Specially formulated for batik, direct sun and salt techniques or can be used as an ordinary fabric paint. Colours can be used direct from the bottle, brushed, sprayed, sponged or airbrushed. For all natural fabrics. Iron fix. Water based and non-toxic.
